Titanium welded tubes are tubes made from titanium and produced using a welding process. Titanium is a lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant metal, making it an excellent choice for various applications where these properties are crucial.

The manufacturing process of titanium welded tubes involves joining two or more pieces of titanium using welding techniques. The most common welding methods used for titanium tubes are:

TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding: Also known as GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), TIG welding is widely used for titanium due to its ability to produce high-quality welds. In this process, a non-consumable tungsten electrode is used to create the arc, and a shielding gas (such as argon) is used to protect the weld area from atmospheric contamination.

Plasma Arc Welding: This process is similar to TIG welding but uses a more concentrated arc, generated through a constricted orifice, which allows for deeper penetration and faster welding speeds.

Electron Beam Welding: In this method, a high-velocity electron beam is used to melt and join the titanium components. Electron beam welding can produce precise and high-quality welds but is typically used for specialized applications.

The choice of welding method depends on factors such as the specific application, tube dimensions, and the required mechanical properties of the final product.

Titanium welded tubes find applications in various industries, including aerospace, chemical processing, power generation, medical devices, and marine equipment. Common applications include heat exchangers, condensers, exhaust systems, hydraulic systems, and structural components.

Titanium Welded Tubes Packing & Documentation

Titanium ERW Tubes Packing & Documentation

ASTM B338 Titanium Alloy Welded Tubes are surface wash and clean to remove all impurities and stock in the warehouse. Then it is wrapped in thin plastic and also it ends are protected by plastic caps to avoid any damage in transit. Titanium Welded Tube is bundled in bubble wrap followed by assorting them in colored plastic bundles. An outer rope is tied to protect the tubing and they are packed in wooden box or container.

MPJ Provide Titanium Welded Tubes with all necessary documents such as commercial invoice, packing list, Test Reports, HS Code, Country of Origin attested by the chamber of commerce, Fumigation Certificate, Warranty Letter, and Base Material Certificates. Every lot is supplied with a material test certificate as per EN 10204 NACE 3.1 standards indicating the chemical and mechanical properties of the Titanium Welded Tubing.

We also confirm the guarantee of the Titanium Welded Tubes supplied as per Purchase order specifications and attest the same in the Material Test Certificate. We also welcome any third party inspection from an agency nominated by the customer to comply with NACE 3.2 Certification if required by the customer at an extra cost.
